Skyrim foods are some of the most iconic of all gaming food out there. Even people who don’t play Skyrim have probably seen a picture of a Sweet Roll, or at least heard the joke “What? Someone stole your sweet roll?”. I can’t not hear that smug SOB guard even as I type this. But being iconic isn’t the only thing that draws me to Skyrim’s food. It’s the rustic simplicity of Nordic living. It’s the feasts of Sovngarde and getting drunk on mead amongst friends. If I can bring even a little bit of the Bannered Mare hearthfire mood into your home, I’ll consider my quest a success.
